This is a 20 year old apartment, in its original condition. It was previously occupied by a family, who then moved out and rented out the three bedrooms to three separate tenants. The owner kept many of her old family belongings in the living room, which includes an old wooden dining table and chairs, TV console, and a prayer altar among many other things. The tenants also left their shoes in uncoordinated shoe cabinets in the living room.

We were tasked to sell the apartment at the last transacted psf of a 1100 sqft unit, which was a relatively high price quantum especially for a unit this size. It was virtually impossible to attract any viewers for the condition of the apartment at our advertised price. So we decided to do a makeover for the apartment in the living room. We first de-cluttered the unit, then brought in our own furniture and furnishing for the living room. We also changed the shoe cabinets and installed uniform shoe storage for the tenants to make the place look neater.

The apartment was sold in three months after our styling, at a price that the owner is happy with in 4Q 2019.
